Independent infrastructure for the physical gold market.
YourGoldHub exists to make premiums, custody fees and settlement terms directly comparable. We publish the method alongside the result so anyone can check our work.

Why we built it
Buying physical gold is one of the few consumer financial transactions where the true cost is deliberately hard to assemble. The spot price is public, but the markup sits inside a coin price, the storage fee sits inside a schedule, and the exit cost sits inside a paragraph nobody reads until they sell.
We normalise those numbers to a single benchmark order and a single holding period, then publish the inputs. A buyer should not have to reverse-engineer four pricing pages to find out that a 0.4% premium with a punitive buy-back is worse than a 0.9% premium settled at spot.
The same discipline runs through the rest of the platform: the savings-plan calculator charges premium on every contribution and takes storage in metal each year, because that is how providers actually bill.

The scoring model
Effective premium
The all-in markup above the London reference price, measured on a standard 1oz benchmark order including any payment surcharge, from the operator’s published tariff.
Ongoing custody cost
Annual vaulting, insurance and platform charges normalised to a percentage per year, with monthly minimums modelled at a $5,000 account size.
Custody security
Whether metal is allocated and segregated, the vault jurisdiction, the audit regime and the bankruptcy remoteness of the client claim.
Settlement friction
Withdrawal, fabrication and buy-back terms, plus how far the sell-side quote sits from the buy-side quote on the same day.
Scores are recomputed whenever we re-verify a platform's published tariff, on a quarterly cycle. If an operator announces a schedule change in between, we re-read the tariff at that point and update the row and its verification date rather than waiting for the next cycle.
Editorial principles
Measure, do not opine
Every ranking traces to a number we captured on a date. Where we cannot measure something, we say so rather than substituting a judgement call.
Total cost over headline cost
A premium without a fee, and a fee without a holding period, are marketing. We publish the combination because that is what a buyer actually pays.
Disclose before it is asked
Commercial relationships are labelled on the page where they are relevant, not buried in a terms document.
Correct in public
Errors are fixed on the page and acknowledged. Silent edits erode the only asset an independent publisher has.
Advertising disclosure
Some platforms listed on YourGoldHub pay a referral fee when a reader opens an account. Those relationships fund the research desk. They never affect a platform's score, its position in the comparison table, or whether it appears at all — and non-paying platforms are ranked on identical terms.
Not investment advice
YourGoldHub publishes market information, cost comparisons and modelling tools for research purposes. Nothing on this site is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Precious metals carry price risk and past performance does not indicate future results.
Frequently asked
- Who is behind YourGoldHub?
- An independent analyst desk covering the physical precious metals market. We are not a dealer, a broker or a custodian, and we never hold client metal or money.
- How do you make money?
- Referral fees from some of the platforms listed, plus newsletter sponsorship that is labelled as such. Commercial relationships never affect a platform's score or its position in the comparison table.
- How current is the price data?
- Spot quotes refresh every sixty seconds from a live metals feed. Daily settlement history comes from COMEX futures and reference exchange rates come from the European Central Bank.
- Can a dealer pay to be listed or removed?
- No. Inclusion is editorial. A dealer may supply corrected figures, which we verify against their public order pages before updating.
- Do you give financial advice?
- No. Everything we publish is market information and cost comparison for research purposes only.
- How do I report an error?
- Send the page, the figure and the source you believe is correct. Verified corrections are applied within one business day and noted on the affected page.

Every ranking on the comparison table is built from the four inputs described above, sampled daily and reviewed monthly.
